Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory care is required.
• Current Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of experience with pulmonary function testing equipment preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for performing pulmonary function tests on patients. This includes setting up and operating pulmonary function testing equipment, explaining the tests to patients, and collecting and analyzing data. The Pulmonary Function Technician will also be responsible for maintaining the pulmonary function testing equipment and ordering supplies.

This position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

This position reports to the Clinical Manager, Respiratory Care and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory care required
• Respiratory Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Experience with pulmonary function testing equipment 1 year preferred
