The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is seeking a Pulmonary Function Technician for the Olathe Medical Pavilion. The role involves performing a wide range of pulmonary function tests, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient scheduling and communications within the lab.
Qualified candidates will have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent, RT licensure in KS or MO, NBRC certification within 1 year, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Pulmonary Function Technician Olathe Medical Pavilion
The position of Pulmonary Function Technician has an educational background in respiratory therapy with specialized training in pulmonary function diagnostics. Performs routine and specialized pulmonary function tests, calibrates and maintains equipment to manufacturer and department standards, and cleans and disinfects equipment and surfaces to hospital and department standards.
