Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pulmonary Function Technician to perform and oversee pulmonary function tests. You will set up equipment, explain tests to patients, and collect data while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role requires an associate degree in respiratory care, a Massachusetts license, and BLS certification, with preferred experience in pulmonary function testing. Onsite work at our facility includes day shifts and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory care required.
• Respiratory Therapist license required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• 1 year+ experience with pulmonary function testing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate pulmonary function testing equipment.
• Explain the tests to patients and obtain informed consent.
• Collect and analyze data from pulmonary function tests.
• Maintain the pulmonary function testing equipment and order supplies.
• Document pulmonary function test results and communicate to physicians.
