Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Pulmonary Diagnostics professional in Winston-Salem, NC. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Compensation ranges from $33.05 to $49.60 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Graduates of AMA respiratory care programs or NBRC registry-eligible candidates are preferred. CPFT within 6 months and RRT licensure are expected; RPFT preferred.

Qualifications

• Communicates with physicians, nurses and staff in a professional manner.
• Delivers reliable diagnostic results.
• Teaches students in the clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain arterial blood gases for acid-base and oxygenation status.
• Calibrate equipment daily to meet spec limits.
• Support quality improvement activities in the lab.
• Provide clinical experience for students to grow skills.
• Administer pulmonary function tests (spirometry, flow-volume loops).
