Pulmonary Disease - Critical Care Physician Job with Avera in Sioux Falls, SD

Join Avera Medical Group Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine as a BE/BC sleep-trained pulmonologist to work with a team of 11 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers in a growing inpatient and outpatient practice. Must be fellowship trained in sleep medicine.

• Clinic located adjacent to Avera McKennan Hospital
• Shared call responsibilities: one physician on weeknights; weekend coverage by one Pulmonary Service and one Intensivist
• Opportunity for 100% Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine practice
• Six weeks’ vacation and five administrative days after each 7-day ICU rotation
• Facilities include an 8-bed Sleep Diagnostic Center, active home sleep apnea testing, state-of-the-art imaging, and a 28-bed ICU
• Additional units include a 16-bed Pulmonary Acute Care Unit and a hybrid Neuro ICU/Neuro Acute Unit with dedicated Neuro Critical Care
• Support from hospitalists and eICU coverage in evenings
• Involvement in pulmonary inpatient services at Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota
• Faculty position in the Internal Medicine Department at the University of South Dakota
• Programs include lung cancer screening, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and active EBUS
