Job summary

University of Florida invites applications for a clinical faculty position in Pulmonary and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine (Main Campus, Gainesville, FL). The appointment is at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, tenure or non-tenure track, commensurate with education and experience.

The candidate should be MD or equivalent, completed Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship, and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent plus completion of a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship, and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
• Academic medicine interest with teaching and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in pulmonary and critical care, including heavy outpatient clinic presence, pulmonary consult service and ICU coverage, and night/weekend ICU shifts.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activities within a rapidly expanding division.
• Participate in the full spectrum of divisional clinical responsibilities and academic duties.
