Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an accredited Pulmonary or Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for hospital privileges at RML Specialty Hospital.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive pulmonary and critical care consultation and medical management for LTACH patients.
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory failure and other complex pulmonary conditions.
• Provide expertise in mechanical ventilation, ventilator management, and ventilator weaning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and goals of care.
