Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks board-certified or board-eligible pulmonologists to join our multidisciplinary pulmonary care teams across academic flagship campuses and community hospitals, including Einstein Healthcare Network facilities.

Roles span outpatient and inpatient settings with opportunities in critical care, advanced bronchoscopy, and subspecialties. Join us to deliver patient-centered care within a collaborative environment and contribute to teaching at academic sites.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnosis, management, and treatment of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related disorders.
• Interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies.
• Perform and interpret bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (as applicable).
• Participate in inpatient consults and/or ICU coverage (based on site-specific needs).
• Collaborate with critical care, thoracic surgery, radiology, and oncology teams.
• Document care in a timely and accurate manner using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students (at academic sites).
• Participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and initiatives.
