Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families. This role requires a CA RN license and AHA BLS; it offers a 12/36 shift pattern and weekend requirements as defined by the union agreement.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of clinical experience; new grads may be considered with the hospital’s program. Competitive hourly pay is provided within the range defined by the CA collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• To provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Clinical advancement with systematic planning and timely information exchange with multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates nursing process, critical thinking and individualized patient care.
• Documents per department guidelines and supports patient education and transfer planning.
