Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and oral.
• Comfort coordinating with clinicians, patients, and billing teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and coordinate managed care referral authorizations for specialty care.
• Learn and utilize multiple electronic systems (POS, Health Wire, Navinet, NIA, etc.).
• Serve as daily contact for patients, PCPs, and staff on referral issues and approvals.
• Communicate with managed care payers to resolve referral problems and assist with training new hires.
• Maintain knowledge of payer rules and work with case management for complex referrals.
