The RCP in Ambulatory performs direct patient care using the respiratory care process, working effectively with healthcare team members and families to provide developmentally appropriate care.
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years full-time post-graduation in respiratory care; 3+ years preferred, especially in pediatric/neonatal care. Associates Degree required; Bachelor's preferred. Asthma education experience preferred.
Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Current Texas license, RRT certification, BLS certification, PACES certification within 6 months, and other preferred certifications such as AARC membership, NPS, CPFT, RPFT, or Asthma Educator certification.
Requires in-depth professional knowledge, the ability to solve complex problems, and work independently. Acts as a resource, leads projects, and impacts team activities. Demonstrates awareness of industry standards and regulations.
