Job summary

ICC Evaluation Service, LLC is seeking a Buyer to oversee procurement and inventory for our publishing operations. You will manage supplier sourcing, bidding, POs, ERP item maintenance, invoicing reconciliation, and vendor performance, collaborating with editorial, production, finance, warehouse and customer service teams.

The role focuses on maintaining material availability, cost efficiency, and accurate inventory while driving improvements in purchasing processes and cross-functional project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing and service agreements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains).
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: setup, monitor, and audit inventory in ERP.
• Procurement & Bidding: coordinate vendor bidding and cost comparisons.
• Purchasing & Invoicing: generate POs, track deliveries, reconcile invoices.
• Vendor Management: develop vendor scorecards and measure performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with editorial, production, finance, warehouse, and customer service.
• ERP System Management: maintain item master data and ensure accurate coding.
• Reporting & Analytics: produce purchasing and vendor performance reports.
