    Publisher Services Manager
    New York, NY / Marketing – Marketing / Full-time / Hybrid Apply for this job WHAT YOU’LL DO The ideal Publisher Services Manager candidate enjoys driving partnerships toward greater collaboration and productivity, with media and inventory technology partners across key channels including Connected TV, Mobile, digital, and retail media, as well as Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) and exchanges. Top candidates understand competitive positions and opportunities, employ optimism and creativity in partner strategy and planning. The role reports to the VP, Publisher Enterprise. This exciting new role will deepen our partnerships with key partners via performance assessment, tactical recommendations, ongoing relationship management, and more. The role will support the Publisher Enterprise team to structure, pursue, and negotiate partnerships which may include solution deployment for inventory acquisition and data sharing, SaaS platform licensing, co-marketing and co-selling, and more. A consistent track record of success, detailed knowledge of advertising technology is strongly preferred.
    THE DAY-TO-DAY
    • All duties will require cross-functional collaboration.
    • Publisher and SSP/Exchange Segmentation, Classification, and prioritization
    • Aid in specific Negotiation planning
    • Partner with Publisher Enterprise team to deploy Viant inventory solutions across key partners
    • Create and execute the template deal structure for secondary and tertiary publisher segments
    • Data analysis for partner comparison, business and partner planning, and product consideration (Advertiser Spending, # of Advertisers, Campaign volume, Seasonal trends, QPS, Bid Volume, Floor CPMs, Clearance CPMs, Win Rate, etc.)
    • Existing Publisher evaluation (e.g. define and track success metrics, determine and recommend partner changes, etc.)
    • In partnership with Operations team, implement deal technology ( e.g.Deal IDs) and Troubleshooting
    • Assess and manage Supply Partner health (e.g. QBRs, CPM Floor recommendations, Inventory quality)
    • Marketing alignment and updates (i.e. ensure updated materials, language, contacts, co-selling opportunities, etc.)
    • Manage both broad and publisher-specific external communication
    • Internal collaboration and communication, including onboarding internal requests from departments across the organization, partnering with Product, Marketing, and others on roadmap execution
    GREAT TO HAVE
    • 5+ years digital experience in business development, operations, or account management
    • Clear, demonstrated track record of contributing results to cross-functional teams
    • Experience working closely with Publishers from either an Agency Investment, Planning, Analytics and/or Ad Tech, Publisher/Platform Sales role
    • Above-average understanding of all aspects of Digital Media Ecosystem, Publisher ad tech stacks, Programmatic Activation, and cross-platform challenges and opportunities
    • Technical intuition and acumen
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple partner relationships and work across multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
    • Consultative mindset with the ability to anticipate partner/client needs, balanced with Viant needs
    • Must work well in a team environment
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Willingness to travel, as needed
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience

    $77,200 - $96,500 a year In accordance with New York City law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
