Job summary

RICEFW Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with IBM Sterling OMS expertise to join the team onsite in Katy, TX. The role focuses on validating end-to-end order management workflows, coordinating with analysts and developers, and ensuring high-quality OMS implementations for retail and eCommerce clients.

Responsibilities include designing tests, validating APIs and data flows, and performing multiple testing types (functional, integration, regression, UAT).

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA experience with enterprise apps.
• 3+ years testing IBM Sterling OMS.
• Experience with OMS integrations with eCommerce, ERP, WMS, and POS.
• Strong SQL for backend data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IBM Sterling OMS applications.
• Validate end-to-end Order Management workflows including order capture, fulfillment, inventory management, sourcing, shipment, returns, and customer service processes.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work closely with BAs, Developers, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Test OMS integrations with eCommerce platforms, WMS, ERP, POS, payment gateways, and third-party applications.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Validate APIs, web services, and data flows between OMS and downstream systems.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and test execution reports.
• Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with enterprise applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience testing IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
• Strong understanding of Order Management lifecycle processes including:

  • Inventory Visibility
  • Sourcing & Fulfillment
  • Shipment Management
  • Returns & Exchanges
  • Customer Service Operations
• Experience with OMS integrations involving eCommerce, ERP, WMS, and POS systems.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
