Job summary

UroGen Pharma, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Publications to lead publication planning across assets, partnering with clinicians, statisticians, regulatory and external vendors to deliver high-quality scientific communications.

The role requires a terminal degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) and demonstrated experience in publication planning within pharma/biotech, plus strong project management and cross-functional collaboration. Travel up to 60% anticipated.

Qualifications

• Experience in publication planning and execution within pharma/biotech.
• Terminal degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or other doctorate).
• Experience in urology, oncology, or related areas a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication for complex scientific information.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities across multiple deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive publication plans for portfolio assets.
• Coordinate publication planning meetings, track timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle for manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Collaborate with authors, investigators, statisticians, regulatory and vendors.
• Ensure publication materials are prepared, reviewed, and approved per procedures.
• Support congress planning, data communication, and scientific messaging consistency.
• Oversee publication systems, data quality, and process improvements.
