Job summary

Titusville Public Works, Stormwater Division, is seeking Level I–V Technicians to perform manual and semi-skilled labor, equipment operation, and maintenance across water, sewer, and street systems. Roles include supporting refuse collection, water distribution, and road maintenance with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Positions vary by level and scope, with progression to heavier equipment operation and more complex maintenance tasks. Training will be provided and site-based work is required.

Qualifications

• Perform manual and semi-skilled laboring tasks related to refuse and recycling collection and related maintenance.
• Assist in maintenance of water distribution, wastewater collection, or reclaimed systems.
• Repair and maintenance of sewer lines, hydrants, valves, and manholes.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate varying sizes of small, medium and heavy equipment as assigned.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other divisions to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Review work orders, reports and drawings to plan tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
