Job summary

Town of Kersey is seeking a Director of Operations for Streets, Parks, Facilities and Fleet to oversee public works activities and ensure reliable service. You will manage crews, coordinate with departments, and enforce safety policies while maintaining infrastructure.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in municipal operations. CDL and pesticide license preferences apply; benefits include health, retirement, and paid time off; on-call responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in public works or parks is preferred.
• Class B CDL preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise seasonal staff during summer and oversee routine tasks.
• Maintain, repair and service Town vehicles and equipment and facilities.
• Snow removal of sidewalks and streets as directed.
• Provide support to town departments and assist in special projects as needed.
• Respond to on-call emergencies (24 hr) when necessary.
