Job summary

City of Stayton seeks an experienced Public Works Supervisor - Utilities to lead water distribution, streets, parks, and municipal facilities. You will coordinate staff, contractors, and emergency responses to keep services safe, reliable, and responsive to the community.

The ideal candidate collaborates, applies strong technical knowledge, exercises sound judgment, and plans projects for efficient operations.

Qualifications

Associate of Applied Science in Water or related field with seven years relevant experience and three years supervisory in a municipality.
Strong fiscal management, expenditure control and recordkeeping skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; able to operate computers for records and reporting.
Extensive knowledge of materials, methods, and Federal/State guidelines for water/wastewater and street operations.
Knowledge of supervision principles and personnel practices.
Ability to operate a wide range of tools and equipment and coordinate complex field work.
Ability to perform process control calculations and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead operation and maintenance of water distribution, streets, parks, and municipal facilities.
Plan projects, coordinate staff and contractors, and respond to emergencies and operational needs.
Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, reliable City services for the community.
