Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5+ years in public works or engineering, and at least 2 years in supervision. A valid PA driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with progressive public works experience.
• Minimum 5 years in public works or engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sanitary/storm sewer operation and maintenance programs.
• Oversee MS4 capital projects and manage subcontractors.
• Inspect development projects and sewer installations.
• Coordinate inspections under the Allegheny County Consent Order (ACO).
• Respond to questions from residents and coordinate with agencies.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

5+ years of public works or engineering experience

2+ years supervisory experience
