Job summary

Cumming Group in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Project Manager to support public works programs as an Owner's Representative, managing budget, schedule, and quality across complex initiatives.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in PM/ Construction management for public agencies, BS in Construction or related field, and certifications such as CCM, PMP, PE, or LEED. Base salary ranges from $115,100 to $153,500 per year with a comprehensive benefit package.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience Project Management, engineering, or construction management working with public agencies.
• Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
• Manage the on-site project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s goals and expectations to all team members.
• Develop and communicate action plans that guide the project team from the initial plan.
• Coordinate with cost management for cost estimates, cost studies and budget reconciliation.
• Drive the permitting process with agencies to move permits efficiently.
• Oversee entitlement processes for zoning and site requirements.
• Lead project procedures and processes for running the project.
