Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a Licensed Civil P.E. in WA or OR with 10+ years in public works design to lead major infrastructure projects. You’ll manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams, while maintaining client relationships for ongoing opportunities. Proficiency in Civil 3D and MicroStation is essential.

You’ll mentor junior staff and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver high-quality public sector solutions that support communities and growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil P.E. in WA or OR with 10+ years in public works design.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Oversee design development using Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Guide proposal processes and contribute to winning public sector work.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing local team of engineers and staff.
