Job summary

Oklahoma Turnpike Authority in Oklahoma City is seeking a Project Manager/Engineering Manager to oversee engineering projects, review consultants’ work, and coordinate with stakeholders and agencies. The role involves on-site problem solving, stormwater permitting support, and close collaboration with ODOT on shared projects.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree; PM requires 3+ years civil engineering experience, while Engineering Manager requires PE licensure and 5+ years of related work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for PM; PE license required for Engineering Manager.
• Minimum experience: PM — at least 3 years civil engineering related work; Manager — at least 5 years with transportation emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering tasks and manages/reviews the work of consultants.
• Develops, prepares and reviews plans and designs for structures and transportation facilities.
• Prepares reports and studies to identify engineering solutions.
• Ensures constructability and compliance with OTA design guidelines.
• Represents OTA in meetings with public officials, professionals, consultants and contractors.
• Assists in storm water permits and annual reports; manages OTA permitting with DEQ and OWRB.
• Coordinates with ODOT on shared projects and oversize load reviews.
