Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Roads & Highways Project Manager in Oklahoma City, OK. You will lead roadway design teams on diverse highway projects, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes client interactions, proposal development, and contract oversight.

Required: BS or MS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of highway/roadway experience, P.E. license in OK. Project management and financial stewardship are essential; PS&E process knowledge is also important.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering required
• 10+ years of engineering experience with highway/roadway design
• Must have highway/roadway design and project management experience
• Knowledge of Schematic and/or PS&E processes essential
• P.E. license in OK required
• PM certification a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and coordinate design staff on transportation projects
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings with clients and regulators
• Monitor project progress, costs and manhours; report to senior management
• Identify new roadway/highway opportunities and promote firm capabilities
• Assist in contract negotiations and preparation of agreements
• Direct project team to ensure schedule, budget and quality objectives
