Job summary

BHC is seeking a Project Engineer to independently handle design and drawing production for Public Works projects. You will demonstrate strong 3D CAD skills, provide technical evaluations, and apply engineering judgment for timely completion, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and PE licensure, with a Master’s preferred. Growth pathways to senior roles exist as you build client relationships and lead large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in three-dimensional computer aided design.
• Ability to lead the design on large or complex projects.
• Strong technical evaluation and engineering judgement.

Responsibilities

• Defines customer requirements and ensures conformity to specifications.
• Coordinates interfaces internally, with customers and partners.
• Prepares proposal estimates of time and expense for projects.
• Maintains design and drawing accuracy, quality, and schedule compliance.
• May monitor construction progress and review contractor change orders.
