Job summary

Century West Engineering is seeking a civil engineer with public works and publicly-funded site development design experience in Bend, Oregon. You will contribute to transportation, water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, using AutoCAD/Civil3D.

Team collaboration drives the work, with ongoing opportunities to grow skills and lead small projects. The salary range shown aligns with the hiring range of $80,000–$92,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, or PE exam passed with license process underway.
• Experience with Central Oregon design standards for transportation/utilities.
• AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroStation experience.
• Good technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and design team on deliverables, calculations, and closeout.
• Provide actionable feedback on design work from engineers and technicians.
• Visit project sites to observe field activities.
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare design reports.
• Use Civil3D for design and plan set preparation.
• Manage small projects under supervision.
