Job summary

Century West Engineering in Idaho is seeking a civil engineer with public works design experience. The candidate will work on transportation, water, and utility projects, collaborating with a team to deliver effective solutions for communities.

Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D is required; PE licensure in ID, OR, or WA is preferred. The role includes site visits, small project management, and design reviews under a PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• PE license in Idaho, Oregon, or Washington preferred.
• Experience with local design standards for transportation/utilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and design team on deliverables and calculations.
• Provide feedback on design work from engineers and technicians.
• Visit project sites to observe field activities.
• Manage small projects under supervision of a project manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborating with project managers and other design team members on engineering deliverables, calculations, and project closeout
• Providing actionable feedback on design work from other engineers and technicians
• Visiting project sites to observe field activities
• Managing small projects under the supervision of a project manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho
• Experience and knowledge of local design standards for transportation and/or utility projects
