Job summary

The City of Lindstrom is seeking a Public Works Maintenance Worker to operate light and heavy equipment, maintain streets, parks, utilities, and other City facilities. You will support safe, efficient public services and report to the Public Works Director and Foreman.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience or training, a Class B driver’s license with air brake endorsement within 1 year, and the ability to respond to after-hours

• Minimum 1 year experience and/or equivalent training related to duties of the job.
• Class B driver’s license with air brake endorsement within 1 year.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.

The Public Works Maintenance Worker is responsible for operating light and heavy equipment, maintaining streets, parks, utilities, and other City-owned facilities and infrastructure, and assisting in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable public services. This position takes direction from the Public Works Director and Foreman. Requirements include: High School diploma or equivalent; minimum 1-year experience and/or equivalent training related to duties of the job; Class B driver’s license with air brake endorsement within 1 year; ability to respond to after-hours emergencies. Salary Range ($63,398.00 - $74,589.00 Annually) with full benefits package.
