The City of Roscoe seeks two Maintenance Technicians for its Public Works Department. Under supervision, you will handle maintenance of water and wastewater lines, collect reports, and operate a variety of tools and equipment. You may lead crews in absence of the supervisor and must be ready for on-call duties.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid Texas Class C license, and be able to work outdoors in varying weather. CDL Class A/B is preferred but not required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Class C driver license and satisfactory driving record.
• Preferred: Class A or B CDL, prior related experience, or related certifications.

Mansioni

• Repair or replace water and wastewater service lines and mains as part of a crew or alone.
• Maintain and repair streets, buildings, and city facilities.
• Respond to work orders and emergency calls; operate hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Explain findings and reports to supervisor; assist as needed.
• Resurface and repair roadways, install signs, and manage on-call duties during shifts.
