Job summary

The City of Frisco is seeking a diligent maintenance worker to support public works operations. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance across streets, water, sewer, and stormwater systems, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, customer service to residents, traffic control during works, and participation in emergency response. Candidates should have a High school diploma or equivalent and basic maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in general maintenance or public works is beneficial.
• Ability to operate and safely maintain common hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of repair and maintenance for City of Frisco public works infrastructure.
• Maintain streets, water, sewer, meters, stormwater, and related facilities.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide customer service to residents and direct traffic as needed.
• Travel to sites for inspections, maintenance, and emergencies.
• Dress in PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures.
