Qualifications

• The Maintenance Worker I performs manual labor of routine difficulty and requires physical effort.
• Experience with construction is desirable.
• Position is subject to 24-hour callback and rotated on-call duties.
• Ability to obtain a Class A & B CDL as a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual labor such as shoveling and raking hot/cold mix asphalt.
• Operate equipment including front-end loaders, bobcats, rollers, riding mowers and trucks.
• Assist in roadway sign layout, removal and installation.
• Participate in snow removal and ice control operations.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
