Job summary

City of Clever is accepting applications for a Public Works Maintenance Worker. This role performs maintenance, repair, and construction duties to support streets, parks, utilities, and public facilities, ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained city infrastructure.

The position may require work outside regular hours during emergencies and weather events. A DS1 certification is required to be pursued shortly after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and follow written instructions and safety rules.
• Wamiliar with basic maintenance tasks across urban infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain streets, signs, and right-of-way; perform minor repairs.
• Mow, trim, and maintain City parks and public properties.
• Locate water/sewer lines and assist with related maintenance.
• Operate and maintain city buildings and equipment; follow safety policies.
