Job summary

The Town of Scarborough is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker/Plow Truck Driver to join the Public Works team. You will operate trucks and equipment for road maintenance, snow removal, and related tasks, with duties including loading, unloading, and cemetery and park upkeep.

The role requires a Class A/B license, pre-employment physical, and ability to work on-call from November through April. A CDL and willingness to undergo safety testing are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A or B driver’s license; CDL required.
• Pre-employment physical required to verify fitness.
• On-call 24 hours a day from November 15 through April 15; report within 60 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Operate light to moderately heavy trucks and snow/ice removal equipment.
• Perform road maintenance, construction, and repair work; load/unload materials.
• Maintain parks, cemeteries, and beaches; assist in loading/unloading trucks.
