Job summary

City of North Richland Hills is seeking individuals for immediate openings in public works and infrastructure support. The position involves operating heavy and light equipment, building water and sewer lines, and repairing roads under the supervision of the Public Works team.

Employees receive benefits and will obtain certifications as part of career development. A Texas CDL with tanker endorsement will be required upon continued employment, with full-time hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• No experience required.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
• Must obtain a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment to support construction and maintenance of City infrastructure.
• Construct water, wastewater and storm drain lines.
• Repair asphalt and concrete roads and maintain water and sewer lines.
• Interact with City employees and citizens while performing duties.
