Job summary

The City of Concord seeks a Maintenance Worker to perform a range of duties maintaining streets, water and sewer systems, and city facilities. Duties include lead work for a crew of maintenance aides, plus plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, and related tasks.

Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, snow plowing in winter, traffic control, and responding to public repair requests. Overtime is a requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a semi-skilled labor or trades job.
• Valid New Hampshire Driver's License; CDL may be required per position.
• Ability to perform outdoor, physically demanding maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain city streets and infrastructure.
• Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, and cleanup.
• Assist with water/sewer systems maintenance and hydrant work.
• Lead a crew as needed and train others on-the-job.
