Job summary

The City of Concord seeks a maintenance worker for the General Services Department—Water Crew. You will perform duties across streets, water and sewer systems, cemeteries, and parks, potentially leading a crew and handling plumbing/electrical tasks as needed.

Typical shift is days, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime. Starting hourly wages range from $21.93 to $29.53, with healthcare benefits beginning after the start date and low deductibles.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a semi-skilled labor or trades job.
• Valid New Hampshire Driver's License.
• May be required to possess NH Class C or B CDL with passenger vehicle or air brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain streets and utilities.
• May act as lead worker and train others.
• Assist with snow plowing and salting operations.
• Perform duties outdoors in varied weather and conditions.
• Operate and maintain common hand/power tools and equipment.
