Job summary

The City of West Linn is seeking a Public Works Laborer to perform manual and semi-skilled tasks in city facilities' maintenance and construction projects. You will weed whack, trim trees, water, shovel, and operate basic equipment under supervision, with opportunities to support storm, streets, environmental and water departments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver"s license.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work independently with minimal supervision as well as with others.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform weed whacking, brushing, watering, trimming of trees, and shoveling.
• Operate basic equipment as directed by Public Works Supervisors.
• Support storm, streets, environmental and water departments with assigned tasks.
