Job summary

The City of Whitewater seeks a Streets/Parks/Forestry Superintendent to manage construction, repair and maintenance of municipal streets, parking lots, parks, stormwater and forestry. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate seasonal work, manage equipment and personnel, and ensure public safety.

Responsibilities include planning projects, liaising with city officials, monitoring budgets, and responding to emergencies with a focus on quality service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in civil engineering or engineering technician preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction, repair and maintenance of municipal streets, parking lots, parks, and related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains streets, parking lots, parks, equipment, stormwater infrastructure, traffic/street lighting, and forestry facilities as directed by budget adoption.
