Job summary

The City of Heath is seeking an Assistant Director of Public Works to lead and coordinate a range of engineering and utility projects across the department. Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible supervisory and administrative experience in public works or infrastructure management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Ability to supervise professional, technical, field maintenance staff.
• Knowledge of city development review processes and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor capital project implementation to meet design and inspection standards.
• Oversee water and sewer utility coordination with other city departments.
• Coordinate subdivision plans, plats, and master land use planning input.
• Communicate with property owners, contractors, and engineers on standards.
