Job summary

Haverford Township is seeking a Part Time Laborer for the Public Works Department. The role requires working in all departments as needed, both independently and as part of a team. The schedule is Monday–Wednesday 6:30am–12pm and Thursday–Friday 6:30am–2pm, subject to seasonal adjustments.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma or GED and can perform heavy manual labor in varying weather. They must follow oral and written instructions, attend trainings, and commit to safety, teamwork,

Responsibilities

Performs sanitation department's daily routes, removal of Trash/Recycling on designated routes.
Works under field conditions with exposure to inclement weather and hazardous conditions; PPE must be utilized.
Other public works related duties as assigned from time to time.
