Job summary

Haverford Township is seeking a skilled Jet Truck Operator to join our Sewer Department. The role involves operating jet trucks, CCTV equipment, and other Public Works machinery for inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and emergency response.

You will work a 40-hour week with on-call coverage and required safety trainings. A High School diploma or GED and a CDL Class A license are required, with CCTV/sewer equipment experience preferred. Join us to serve the community with reliability and pride.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years experience operating CCTV sewer inspection equipment or related Public Works equipment.
• Valid CDL Class A License and ability to maintain required licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewer jet trucks, CCTV inspection equipment, dump trucks, backhoes, and other Public Works machinery.
• Conduct sewer line inspections and identify maintenance and operational issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of sewer infrastructure.
• Assist with sewer maintenance and repair activities including cleaning basins and lines.
• Participate in snow/ice control and emergency response operations.
• Respond to sewer emergencies and PA One Call notifications, including after-hours calls.
