Qualifications

• Two years’ experience operating tractor-trailer and/or heavy equipment.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid Colorado Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within specified time frame.
• MSHA certification within first 12 months of employment.
• Must read/write/speak English well enough for reports and communications.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, heavy and light construction, or road maintenance equipment.
• May have lead worker responsibilities.
• Perform advanced level heavy equipment operations.
• Communicate effectively via radio and with the public.
• Assist in operation of mining, crushing, and reclamation equipment.
• Be available for extraordinary hours during emergencies and weather events.
