Qualifications

• Some experience performing custodial related work or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to understand and follow oral instructions.
• Ability to read a variety of reports, logs, manuals, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, even under stress.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the disposal of residential waste.
• Removes snow and ice from yards and buildings; sweeps yards and rakes, blows and removes leaves.
• Picks up and disposes of litter around the buildings.
• Communicates with the public in person or by phone.
• Completes time sheets and relays information to Public Works Department.
• Performs other related duties as required.
