Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of public works experience.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, operation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Assign work to subordinates and lay out assignments.
• Estimate time and materials for jobs.
• Initiate requisitions for supplies and equipment.
• Examine and approve operation logs and time records.
• Direct supervision of subordinate supervisors and trade leaders.
• Arrange for employee training and safety meetings.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce safe work practices.
