The City of Boca Raton seeks an experienced equipment operator to support Streets and Stormwater. You will operate backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, and other public works machinery to maintain roads and drainage, respond to emergencies, and support construction projects.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of motorized equipment experience, along with a valid Florida CDL and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe operation procedures for medium and heavy equipment.
• Ability to interpret work assignments and follow directions.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Operate medium to heavy equipment in Streets and Stormwater maintenance.
• Perform stormwater maintenance, pipe work, catch basins, and culverts.
• Assist in roadway maintenance, patching, and infrastructure improvements.
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain records of work performed and equipment usage.
• Support traffic control setup per MOT standards and respond to emergencies.
