Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related work experience (construction, landscaping, concrete installation).
• Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid within 12 months of hire.
• OSHA Confined Space, OSHA Competent Person, and ODOT Flagger certifications required within specified timeframes; CDL Class A with Air Brakes and Tanker endorsements within six months.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain roadways, bridges and rights-of-way.
• Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment including bucket trucks and heavy machinery.
• Perform concrete construction (sidewalks, driveways, ADA ramps).
• Provide public service by responding to inquiries and service requests.
• Maintain signs, markings, and city lots; manage vegetation.
• Work four 10-hour days per week outdoors in varying weather.
