Zusammenfassung

The City of Allen is seeking a motivated individual to assist in maintaining City streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems. You will operate heavy equipment, seal cracks, fill potholes, pour curbs and sidewalks, and lay asphalt as required to keep our infrastructure in good repair.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, safety oversight on site, traffic control, and accurate documentation of work performed. A high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience is required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Safe driving record and Valid Texas Driver's License
• Clear criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Aufgaben

• Operates heavy equipment and machinery to maintain streets, sidewalks, and drainage ways, including sealing cracks, filling potholes, pouring concrete curbs and sidewalks, and laying asphalt.
• Maintains City heavy equipment and tools through preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures crew and public safety by performing traffic control and setting up warnings and cones as needed.
• Documents maintenance work and reports as necessary; may provide direction to other employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
