The Village of Oswego, a fast‑growing community of nearly 40,000 residents located 40 miles southwest of Chicago, is seeking an accomplished, forward‑thinking leader to serve as its next Director of Public Works. This is a unique opportunity to guide one of Oswego’s largest and most impactful departments during an exciting period of growth, investment and long‑range infrastructure planning. The Director will guide major infrastructure initiatives, including the transition to Lake Michigan water, improvements along the Wolfs Crossing corridor, the completion of a new Public Works facility and supporting continued community growth.
Salary range effective January 1, 2027: $142,563–$213,866; anticipated hiring range up to $185,000.
