Vermont League of Cities and Towns is seeking a Public Works Coordinator to support the Public Works Director. The role offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with compensation of $24.09–$26.03 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will coordinate administrative, financial, outreach and data-management tasks while providing excellent customer service to a wide range of stakeholders.
Public Works Coordinator - reports to Director of Public Works

Full-Time, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., M-F
Under the general direction of the Public Works Director, the Coordinator provides excellent written and oral customer service to a variety of stakeholders, a wide range of administrative and technical support, including business and financial functions, education and outreach, data management, and general support related to the department's activities and the overall Town Manager's office. The role requires a high degree of detail-orientation, organization, and the ability to plan and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with major coursework in communications and/or customer service, or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a professional customer service role. Any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be qualifying. Experience in office management tasks is required, any municipal or public works operations is highly desirable.
