Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years in public works construction/maintenance.
• Valid CDL required; pipeline maintenance licensing path within 3 years of hire.
• Ability to supervise and plan work with foreman; read maps/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small crew and assist foreman in planning work and maintaining time records.
• Estimate materials, manpower and equipment needs for projects.
• Assist in street maintenance tasks including sealing cracks and pothole repair.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper tools are brought to each job.
• Operate vehicles and assist with traffic control setup when needed.
