Job summary

City of Papillion in Nebraska seeks an experienced City Engineer to supervise the Engineering Division within Public Works. Overseeing planning, budgeting, design, construction, and inspection of public infrastructure, you will guide staff and coordinate with contractors and agencies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 5 years in civil engineering with 3+ in supervision, and a Nebraska PE license. This is a full-time, on-site role with no remote options.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil engineering, traffic engineering, and hydraulics.
• Familiar with municipal water, sewer, and street systems.
• Ability to read plans, specs, maps, and contract documents.
